Sinj
Sinj is a town in the Split-Dalmatia County, located 320 meters above sea level, surrounded on the east and north side by the river Cetina and it is the centre of Sinj and the Cetina region. Interests
The town of Sinj is known for its traditional maintenance Alka of Sinj, a tournament commemorating the victory over the Turks in 1715. It is held every year on Sunday in the first third of August. In 2010 Sinj Alka is included in the UNESCO list of world intangible heritage.
